NEW kit for detection of Zika virus is available now

Dear colleagues, we would like to inform, that the NEW PCR kit for detection of Zika virus is available now.

AmpliSens^® Zika virus-FRT PCR kit, REF R-V73-F-CE, is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for qualitative detection of RNA of Zika virus in the biological material (blood plasma, saliva, urine, spermatic fluid, histological material (autopsy/biopsy material, placenta), amniotic fluid, mosquitos, oropharyngeal swabs), taken from the persons suspected of Zika fever without distinction of form and presence of manifestation, using real-time hybridization-fluorescence detection of amplified products.

AmpliSens^® Zika virus-FRT PCR kit is released in not-aliquoted format and intended for 55 reactions (including controls).

AmpliSens^® Zika virus-FRT has official adaptation for Rotor-Gene 3000/6000, Rotor-Gene Q and CFX96 thermal cyclers.

Analytical sensitivity of the kit depends of biological material, extracted volume and extraction method/kit and can vary from 2000 copies/ml (for Blood plasma, Mosquitos (homogenate), Urine, Saliva to 500 copies/ml (Urine)

At the moment kit has not CE-mark, but we plan to get it soon.
