AmpliSens® ARVI-screen-FRT PCR kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for multiplex detection and identification of specific nucleic acid fragments of pathogens that cause acute respiratory viral infections – human Respiratory Syncytial virus (hRSv) RNA; human Metapneumovirus (hMpv) RNA; human Parainfluenza virus-1-4 (hPiv) RNA; ОС43, Е229, NL63, and HKUI human Coronavirus (hCov) RNA; human Rhinovirus (hRv) RNA; human B, C, and E Adenovirus (hAdv) DNA; and human Bocavirus (hBov) DNA – in the clinical material (nasal and oropharyngeal swabs, sputum, aspirate of trachea, bronchoalveolar lavage, bronchial washing fluid, and autopsy material) by using real-time hybridization-fluorescence detection of amplified products.
NOTICE: This kit requires reverse transcription step. We recommend Reverta-L (К3-4-50-CE) reverse transcription kit for better results.
Recommended extraction kits: RIBO-sorb (K2-1-Et-100-CE), RIBO-prep (K2-9-Et-100-CE). It is possible to use other nucleic acid extraction protocols.

PCR is the basic method when working with nucleic acids, allows you to multiply the number of copies of the target DNA site and determine the initial concentration of the desired sequences during real-time analysis time.
In addition, this method has been widely used in molecular diagnostics for the determination of pathogens infectious diseases and predispositions to hereditary diseases. Cooling and heating of samples with the necessary frequency and duration required for conducting PCR, provided by special devices – amplifiers (thermal cyclers).
